(AP) ? It's always fun to hear what Jennifer Lawrence has to say ? even if you have to lip read because she's being bleeped.

The bleeping started early for the charmingly blunt Lawrence, a best actress nominee for "Silver Linings Playbook," as ABC silenced her cheeky red carpet response to actress Kristin Chenoweth.

The two were bonding over "Dance Moms," the Lifetime reality series, when Lawrence asked Chenoweth if she liked it too.

Chenoweth: "Is the pope Catholic?"

Lawrence: "... ?" (We can't print her reply here, but the reference was to something a bear does in the woods.)

And the night, as they say, was still very young. Stay tuned!

Joaquin Phoenix didn't waste any time getting into the Dolby Theatre, and the Oscar-nominated actor's dash across the red carpet didn't go unnoticed.

Red carpet host Chris Connelly heckled Phoenix, who has criticized the awards show, as he rushed by, saying he was setting new speed records.

Connelly then added, "You should be at the (NFL) combine," a reference to the athletic tests NFL recruits go through.

Oscar bleacher fans got a wave from some stars such as Jane Fonda, and a peace sign from others, including Channing Tatum.

Then there were those who pulled out all the stops.

Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter paused on the red carpet to pose for pictures for star-struck fans.

Melissa McCarthy stopped to beam and wave at every section of the bleachers, all but ignoring the professional photographers surrounding her.

Jessica Chastain blew the crowd a kiss.

And Joseph Gordon-Levitt topped it all off with an appreciative bow to his audience.

Even the food gets the red-carpet treatment at the Academy Awards.

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck rolled a tray out onto the carpet to show off just a few of the goodies that will be served at the annual Governor's Ball following the show.

Making the scene were baked potatoes with caviar, smoked salmon, chicken pot pie with truffle, Kobe steak, sushi, sashimi and of course Puck's famous gold-dusted chocolate Oscar statuettes.

"It's going to be the greatest party ever," he said.

With more than a half-hour to show time and the red carpet still buzzing outside, some early bird Oscar attendees were already taking their seats inside the Dolby Theatre.

And why not? It's a great place to see and hear ABC's red carpet coverage, featuring Kristin Chenoweth, as it blasted away on giant TV screens hanging above the stage.

A few months ago, Army Sgt. 1st Class Walter Talens was shooting footage in Afghanistan. On Sunday, he had a prime seat to watch the stars at the Academy Awards.

Talens was one of dozens of service members sprinkled around the fan bleachers, where he hoped to get a glimpse of actress Jennifer Lawrence from his second-row seat.

It was a new vantage point for him after working two Oscar shows filming shout-outs to troops overseas.

His boss, Maj. John Reynolds, relocated from a posting in Fort Leavenworth, Kan., a few months before last year's show and was hoping for a glimpse of Denzel Washington, Ben Affleck and Lawrence.

"I never thought I would be this close to the red carpet," said Reynolds, who had a front row seat where the stars entered the Dolby Theatre.

Talens, who noted the Oscars' longtime support of the troops, said, "I'm very happy the academy supports the military and allows us to see the glitz and glamour."

Sometimes in Hollywood it takes more than one try to get the perfect shot.

On Sunday afternoon, that was the case for the accountants bringing in the Oscar ballot results.

The men walked calmly down the red carpet clutching briefcases as a film crew recorded their every move. But before they could enter the Dolby Theatre, they had to repeat the last leg of their walk.

This time fans in the bleachers cheered. The cameras rolled and everyone was satisfied.

Cut. The men walked into the theater.

It's Hollywood.

Facebook's plan for West Campus to be reviewed Monday by Menlo Park planners

Facebook's plan to build a second campus on the west side of Bayfront Expressway moves to the Menlo Park Planning Commission on Monday.

The social network company has asked the city to rezone its 22-acre West Campus site because the building height there is now limited to 35 feet.

The 43,555-square-foot office and rooftop park that Facebook wants to build above a surface-level parking lot would reach a height of 73 feet, according to city documents. The building has been designed by celebrated architect Frank Gehry.

The commission also will consider approving an official statement that the development's benefits would outweigh its negative environmental impacts. According to a city memo, one significant and unavoidable impact could be additional traffic at the intersections of Marsh and Middlefield roads and University Avenue and Donohoe Street. Construction noise is another potential impact.

In addition, the commission is to consider allowing removal of 175 heritage trees and approving Facebook's agreement to provide either $4.5 million in fees to the city for affordable housing or put up 15 affordable housing units elsewhere, or a combination of both.

In January, the city council approved a development agreement for the West Campus project that calls for Facebook to pay Menlo Park $1.5 million over 10 years and $100,000 for local improvements, and to restrict the number of vehicles entering and leaving the new campus. Facebook

also has committed to pay the city at least $194,000 a year in property taxes.

The West Campus, previously occupied by Tyco Electronics at 312 and 313 Constitution Drive, would be given the new address of 1 Facebook Way. About 2,900 employees will work there, according to project documents.

The new building will be linked to the main campus -- the former headquarters of Sun Microsystems -- via a tunnel underneath Bayfront Expressway. The main campus has been permitted to accommodate as many as 6,600 employees.

The planning commission will meet in the council chambers, 701 Laurel St., at 7 p.m.

Chinese Army to Blame for Cyber Attacks

This transcript is automatically generated

-- you've -- heard about a number of cyber attacks on banks and other companies recently but now's the time to listen up.

He has cyber hacking it can be coming to a new had.

A new report out today by computer security firm -- and actually traces thousands of attacks and US companies to the Chinese army.

As straight from their headquarters.

This map shows one base of the people's liberate a liberation army and the report says more than 100.

Cyber attacks and US firms king street from this building.

And here's what the -- and CEO to pull our own Dennis -- earlier today.

-- fact that it's a sustained effort for seven years using thousands of computers.

Let us to the conclusion that's just unavoidable it's in fact the government performing these intrusions.

I is vehemently denying these allegations but my next guest says there's a better chance of life on Mars than these attacks not originating in China Morgan right.

Such -- cyber security analyst Morgan thanks for joining us.

-- Morgan says it is they're not even just the slightest smallest tiniest chance that maybe this isn't China.

What got you -- better chance of Kim Kardashian becoming a -- that you do -- China not being involved in this you know quite frankly and I would believe that story -- no way it ended the point in the report.

It's been to sustain for too long the level of sophistication the targets that have been attacked.

And it's not just wanting to attack but in some of these attacks that lasted the average attack lasted for year.

One of them went almost five years you don't get that without state sponsorship and look all we're doing today is stating.

The obvious what everybody's known for long time is that China has been behind us for a long time.

So -- gold be that because -- seem that it's not one specific industry.

-- -- writing an array of industries here in this country.

So China has applause he called a thousand grains of sand you collect who are you -- lots and lots of information from different places but three primary places that the things that they're trying to affect.

Political economic and military so from a political standpoint a lot of the government agencies have been a compromise they wanna know policy positions what people -- saying an email.

Technology obviously what they're trying to do is beat the R&D curve they're stealing are -- from our companies here.

To advance their knowledge it's been proven in court several times there's -- a couple of that the Chinese companies which have ties to the PLA.

Which have been enough sound of have violated no actual property rights have done economic espionage.

And then you've got military I mean it did that communication satellites being targeted.

A lot of the defense and military industrial base being targeted this is part of China's strategic plan for growth and they're attacking us -- were quite frankly what the weakest and Summers yeah.

And -- if you know for those that.

That that think airplanes that are the government's the biggest target of of these attacks there wrong it's really -- that's been the most popular target.

And it's tax -- then followed by aerospace public administration satellites Telecom.

So I she's really a threat here in one big example I wanted to bring -- What is -- hacker or hackers targeting -- that last September.

Which has axis is 60%.

Of north Americans oil and gas pipelines.

This is significant.

And poses a very serious threat.

Yet they attacked the skate -- system the supervisory control and data acquisition system that's the thing that that's the brains that runs a lot of these different things.

But a few key if you -- you go after the money you go after the energy if you wanna shed -- EU nation down you don't necessarily have to drop a bomb.

You cut off the oil supply you make things difficult -- disrupt power electricity.

We saw what happened on the cruise line right if you lose power what happens things get really bad a magic now for nation -- entire region was without power there's hospitals -- public safety.

There's transportation finance banking you just name at all lot of things could happen.

So so what do you DO -- businesses seem like it it's just almost impossible to protect themselves.

They're paying his billions of dollars to protect their companies but yet -- the Chinese if if this is -- case just seem to be walking right through the front door.

We'll look at a prior life I was actually a detective -- taught interviewed interrogation went through -- behavior the behavior analysis training at the FBI gave and one of the things they're doing here.

It's not just technology they're attacking there's three types of -- hardware software what -- -- the humans are the weakest link and a lot of -- and what they do is they target them.

With the same techniques out of work for financial fraud identity theft it's called spear fishing.

Fishing is -- emails -- -- cast about spear Phishing is targeting people sending them a message that looks personalize because it means something to you.

And then having an attachment there that's too good to pass up like latest quarterly reports or the state of security in Syria dot zip.

You click on that and simply by clicking on that that's the method of -- sections of the biggest lesson people reduced train their people be suspicious when you get attachments.

And just don't trust because it comes an email even -- it came from Roger Ailes or even if it came from.

You know that the president you do have to be suspicious because social engineering is the preferred method of -- Compromise are at Morgan will not thank you so much it sounds like the same applies for your personal life you know watch out for suspicious emails and your Twitter absolutely same thing.

Our -- Martin right thank you so much for joining us.

You -- thank you next.

HTC launches smartphone with revamped software to take on Samsung

LONDON (Reuters) - Taiwan's HTC Corp has unveiled the new smartphone that it hopes will set it apart from the crowd of Google Android devices on the market and help it to make up ground lost to Samsung.

The HTC One is powered by Google's software, but the company has distinguished it from rivals by using new software to replace icons on the home screen with a personalized stream of news articles, social networking updates, photos and video.

Chief executive Peter Chou told reporters in London that the BlinkFeed feature would reinvigorate the smartphone experience.

"BlinkFeed transforms your home screen into a live feed of information that matters to you," he said.

HTC was an early, and successful, maker of smartphones based on Android, but it has been eclipsed by the increasing dominance of Samsung in the Android market.

Android is widening its lead in smartphone operating systems, with devices running the software capturing nearly 70 percent of the market in the fourth quarter, Gartner said last week.

Apple is in second place with 21 percent, while Blackberry and Windows Phone, which Nokia is pinning its hopes on, trailed with 3.5 percent and 3 percent respectively.

HTC, however, has failed to capitalise on Android's dominance. Its share of mobile phone sales fell to 1.8 percent of the market last year, down from 2.4 percent in 2011, according to Gartner, and reported a 91 percent plunge in fourth-quarter net profit last month.

The company, which started as a contract manufacturer, has been outgunned in the marketing stakes by both Samsung, which Gartner said made more than 42 percent of Android smartphones in the fourth quarter, and Apple.

HTC launched its new device, which features a 4.7 inch screen and quad-core processor, days before the mobile phone industry's biggest gathering in Barcelona.

Analyst Julian Jest, of Informa Telecoms and Media, said that the new smartphone would help HTC to differentiate its brand from the typical Android offering.

"The introduction of HTC One has come at an ideal time - iPhone sales are slowing down and advanced users are now desperately looking for more innovative devices to satisfy their appetite to explore the new technology horizons," he said.

HTC said the device would be available in more than 80 countries from March.

Michael Beller: Miami Marlins fantasy baseball draft preview -- Stanton best option on rebuilding club

Despite his injury history, Giancarlo Stanton is the only safe bet for 40 homers in all of baseball.

Stephen Dunn/Getty Images

Which was the loudest: The splash the Marlins made last offseason, the thud with which their season crashed to earth, or the boom of their roster imploding this winter? No matter your answer, it's safe to say 2012 was an abject failure in Miami, and 2013 looks like it could be worse. With the Astros now members of the American League, the Marlins stand a chance of being the worst team in the Senior Circuit this year.

The exodus started last season, with Hanley Ramirez traded to the Dodgers and Omar Infante and Anibal Sanchez traded to the Tigers at the deadline. It continued in force during the offseason, when the team shipped Jose Reyes, Josh Johnson, Emilio Bonifacio, Mark Buehrle and John Buck to Toronto. All that talent landed the Marlins a handful of legitimate pitching prospects with varying degrees of promise. For fantasy purposes, though, this team is bereft of impact players, with one large exception.

Giancarlo Stanton raked last year to the tune of .290/.361/.608 with 37 homers and 86 RBI in just 123 games. A season of full health should result in 40 homers and 100 RBI without breaking a sweat. And if I could get a "Giancarlo Stanton homers and doubles vs. Marlins wins" prop in Vegas, I'd be betting my life savings on Stanton. If you're a Miami fan, well, at least you'll probably have the Heat to keep you occupied into early June and an up-and-coming Dolphins team to focus on come September. The rest of us will need to find the bits and pieces worth paying attention to on the Marlins' roster.

Projected roster

Lineup:

1. Juan Pierre, LF
2. Placido Polanco, 3B
3. Justin Ruggiano, CF
4. Giancarlo Stanton, RF
5. Logan Morrison, 1B
6. Rob Brantly, C
7. Donovan Solano, 2B
8. Adeiny Hechavarria, SS

Rotation:

1. Ricky Nolasco
2. Jacob Turner
3. Nathan Eovaldi
4. Henderson Alvarez
5. Wade LeBlanc

Bullpen: Steve Cishek (closer), Jon Rauch, Michael Dunn, Ryan Webb, Jose Ceda, Dan Jennings, A.J. Ramos, Chris Hatcher

Key questions

? There are some awesome outfielders this year. Where does Giancarlo Stanton fit in? Everyone's board will vary, but most fantasy experts will have eight outfielders in their top 15 or 20 players. In no particular order, those outfielders are: Mike Trout, Ryan Braun, Matt Kemp, Andrew McCutchen, Carlos Gonzalez, Jose Bautista, Josh Hamilton and Stanton. The next outfielders on the board are of the Bryce Harper-Jason Heyward-Justin Upton ilk, so it's clear we can draw a line after the first eight. But is it possible that Stanton, already considered one of fantasy's elite, isn't getting enough love?

I think it is. Trout and Braun are in a class by themselves because of their power-speed combo. Kemp could be part of that group if he stays healthy, as could McCutchen if there's still another level in his development. While Stanton is never going to be a base-stealing threat, I have him next on my board, ahead of CarGo, Bautista and Hamilton. We know CarGo is a strong bet for 25/25, but his injury history doesn't let us set his ceiling any higher. Bautista is Stanton with a worse batting average and a smidge less power. Hamilton is Stanton plus eight years. Stanton, meanwhile, is coming off two years in which he posted isolated slugging percentages of .275 and .318 and is all of 23 years old. That's the scary part. Given his age, Stanton is sure to take another step developmentally -- and it could even be a leap. It takes a lot these days to pencil a guy in for 40 home runs. In fact, Stanton is the only player in the league for whom we can confidently do that. He's my No. 5 outfielder and No. 14 overall player.

? What happened to everyone's favorite Twitter pal, Logan Morrison? After hitting 23 homers in 123 games in 2011, many in the fantasy community projected a breakout season for Morrison last year, this writer included. Instead, Morrison struggled right out of the gate and never got going, serving as a microcosm for the team's entire season. Injuries limited him to just 93 games, and he hit .230/.308/.399 with 11 homers for the season. Not exactly breakout numbers.

Looking at his advanced stats, there isn't a whole lot to explain Morrison's down year. His .248 BABIP suggests exceedingly bad luck, and is especially puzzling considering he didn't hit an overwhelming amount of ground balls or pop ups. He maintained his trademark strong plate discipline, swinging at only 22.6 percent of pitches outside the strike zone, well below the 30-percent league average. Other than the low BABIP, there aren't any advanced numbers that explain Morrison's bad season.

Given that, I'm back on the Morrison bandwagon this year. Let's not forget that he's just entering his age-25 season. There's plenty of room for growth, and we could be looking back on 2012 as nothing more than a speed bump in his progression. I'm not letting last year's memories drive me away from Morrison at the draft table this year. Hitting behind Stanton in the order, a year of ample opportunity and 25 homers seems in order.

? Will Jacob Turner, Nathan Eovaldi and/or Henderson Alvarez justify the price the Marlins paid for them? The Marlins acquired Turner for Infante and Sanchez. Eovaldi came to the Fish in the Ramirez deal. Alvarez was part of Toronto's package for Reyes, Johnson, et al. They're all well-regarded prospects, but none of them came cheap. Will any of them start paying dividends in 2013? Let's quickly take them one by one.

Turner: After coming over from the Tigers, Turner made seven starts for the Marlins, posting a 3.38 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 29 strikeouts in 42.2 innings. He made 19 starts at three different minor league stops last year, going 4-2 with a 3.16 ERA and 1.21 WHIP for Detroit's Triple-A Toledo, and 2-0 with a 1.98 ERA and 1.43 WHIP for Miami's Triple-A New Orleans. He did all of this at 21 years old, and he will be counted on this year to be a big part of the Marlins' rotation. He's not going to attain fantasy stardom this year, but he's a guy with the right pedigree (ninth overall pick in 2009) and minor league background to bet on in the majors. As a fantasy owner, you should be aware of him in the later stages of your draft.

Eovaldi: Unlike Turner, we have a decent-sized book on Eovaldi. He made 22 starts with the Dodgers and Marlins last year, accumulating a 4.30 ERA and 1.51 WHIP. Like Turner, Eovaldi is very young; he just turned 23 this month. He showed a strikeout ability through Double-A that has yet to materialize in the majors despite an average fastball of 94.1 MPH. His power repertoire and minor league track record suggest he could develop into a strikeout pitcher in the majors, but he still slots safely behind Turner for fantasy purposes. He's probably not a guy mixed leaguers should be looking at on draft day.

Alvarez: The Blue Jays gave Alvarez a nice 31-start run in the majors last year, and while the results weren't necessarily pretty, logging nearly 200 innings in a season before your 23rd birthday can be good for a starter. There were also some encouraging numbers buried in his stat line. While he had a 4.85 ERA, his xFIP was 4.42, suggesting the Blue Jays' defense cost him about one-half of an earned run per nine innings. If he's going to be an effective pitcher, he's going to need to develop secondary pitches to go along with his power fastball. He induced just 5.6-percent swinging strikes last year, well below league average. With age on his side, he has plenty of time to progress. He's a guy you'll want to monitor in the early stages of the season.

Sleeper

Jacob Turner: Turner's the one young pitcher profiled above you'll want to make sure is on your cheat sheet heading into your draft. He has the pedigree and the skill set to become the Marlins' best starter this year, and in a small sample with the team a year ago, he appeared to enjoy pitching in the National League. He'll have a long leash on a team without realistic playoff aspirations, as well.

Bust

Juan Pierre: I feel a little silly calling Pierre a bust because that would mean that people actually expect something of him. He did experience a bit of a resurgence last year, stealing 37 bases and posting a .351 OBP in 439 plate appearances. That .351 OBP was just the second time he got on base at least 34.2 percent of the time since 2004. Given that speed is his only true asset and he's 35 years old, I don't have faith in him doing it again.

Breakout

Logan Morrison: Last year may not have been the year, but you'll want to get in before vacancy fills up at the Morrison Hotel. His down season goes completely unsupported by his peripheral stats. I'm willing to write that off as a young guy having an unexpectedly bad year. Get ready for 25 homers at a cheap price, as well as eligibility at first base and in the outfield.

NL-only players to know

Nathan Eovaldi and Henderson Alvarez: See above.

Donovan Solano: Miami's new starting second baseman hit .295/.342/.375 with seven steals in 285 at-bats last year. The rates might come down a bit as he gets more exposed, but he could push up against 20 stolen bases.

Adeiny Hechavarria: Entering his age-24 season, the replacement for Reyes at short hit .312/.363/.424 in 443 at-bats with Triple-A Las Vegas last year. He struggled in his first stint in the majors, but will be given every chance to grab a hold of the Marlins' shortstop job.

Nike, Oakley move away from Oscar Pistorius

Two major sponsors, Oakley and Nike, distanced themselves from Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius on Monday after the South African sports star was charged with murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend.

Oakley, the eyewear maker, suspended its contract with Pistorius. And Nike, which sells shoes and other athletic gear, said it has no plans to use him in future ad campaigns.

Pistorius lost both of his legs in childhood. Racing on carbon-fiber blades, he was the first amputee athlete to run at the world championships in 2011, and he made history competing in the London Olympics last year. His success at overcoming hardship made him popular with South Africans, and a desirable pitchman for advertisers.

On Thursday, he was arrested and charged with shooting his girlfriend to death in his home in South Africa. His family has denied that he murdered his girlfriend, the model Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius' agent has canceled the athlete's future scheduled races.

Nike Inc. confirmed to The Associated Press on Monday that it had no plans to use Pistorius in future campaigns. Nike spokesman KeJuan Wilkins declined to say whether Nike had previously had any plans for Pistorius, or whether it will remove current advertising that includes him.

A 2007 Nike Internet ad showing Pistorius starting to sprint in his blades with the caption: "I am the bullet in the chamber" had already been pulled.

Wilkins said the wording in the 2007 campaign "was in reference to Oscar's speed and performance on the track. Nike felt it was appropriate to take the ad down from Oscar's website recognizing the sensitivities of the situation."

Later on Monday, Oakley, in an emailed statement, said that "in light of the recent allegations, Oakley is suspending its contract with Oscar Pistorius, effective immediately." The California company, a unit of Italian glasses and sunglasses maker Luxottica Group, has been associated with Pistorius since 2009, according to the athlete's website.

Pistorius' website, which has been posting statements from his manager and his family, still shows other Nike ads, as well as logos from Nike, Oakley and other companies.

Beaverton, Ore.-based Nike, which spent $800 million on endorsements in its last fiscal year, has found itself in tricky situations with athletes before. It dropped Lance Armstrong in October 2012 after charges of widespread doping on his cycling teams. Armstrong has since admitted to doping and has been stripped of his seven Tour de France victories, and was also dropped by other sponsors.

But Nike stood by golfer Tiger Woods after he admitted to infidelities and went to rehab for sex addiction, and restarted a relationship with football player Michael Vick once he had served time for illegal dog-fighting.

24 convicted in killing of Moroccan soldiers

RABAT, Morocco (AP) ? A Moroccan military court convicted 24 Western Saharan activists on Sunday for their roles in the killing of 11 soldiers at a protest camp in 2010, and gave nine of the defendants life sentences.

The long delayed trial revolves around the sensitive issue of Morocco's annexation of the mineral rich Western Sahara region in 1975.

In October 2010, thousands of Western Saharans set up a protest camp in Gdim Izik just outside the main city of Laayoune to demonstrate against their marginalization in favor of Moroccans from the north and to demand jobs and housing.

The Polisario, an Algeria-based group fighting for the independence of the Western Sahara, maintains the camp also had political demands and was part of a popular revolt for independence.

After negotiations with the protesters broke down, security forces went to clear the camp on Nov. 8 and were met by armed resistance. Eleven soldiers and two Saharans died in the fighting in some of the most serious violence in the region since it was annexed by Morocco in 1975.

Hundreds of people were arrested, but only 24 were finally tried as well as one more in absentia. Nine life sentences were handed down Sunday, as well as four for 30 years, eight for 25 years, 2 for 20 years, and two others released for time served.

Mohammed Messoudi, a defense lawyer, described the verdict as "shocking" and added that "the accused did not have all their rights because in a military trial we can't appeal the verdicts." Still, the lawyer said he will ask the supreme court to review the verdict.

He added that many of the accused claimed they had been tortured while in custody, and the court did not authorize medical examinations. He also dismissed the evidence, largely police reports, as sufficient for a guilty verdict.

The trial, which began Feb. 1, was often the scene of rival demonstrations between families of the defendants and those of the victims, who had long denounced the delays in the trial.

"We had confidence in Moroccan justice and it has not disappointed us," said Miloud Belhouari, who represents the families of the victims. "These people (the defendants) can see their families again after 30 or 25 years of prison, but we will never see our sons again who were slaughtered in cold blood."

Local and international rights groups have condemned the use of a military court to try the Saharans, many of whom were community representatives.

"The trial of civilians before a military court does not meet internationally recognized standards for a fair trial," Philip Luther, Amnesty International's Mideast director, said in a statement before the verdict. "Allegations of the torture of detainees must be investigated and any evidence obtained under torture must be dismissed by the court."

The military court did carry out its option of sentencing some defendants to execution.

LIve$##Watch Liverpool vs Swansea Live Streaming Online - Internet

The NFL is one of the most popular sports leagues on the planet. Millions of people tune in every week to see their favorite teams go head to head. I mean, even Jets fans still turn on their TV to watch their team play, even after this:

And as online video continues to become more and more popular the NFL has made sure to include streaming to help bolster their fan base even more. It used to be impossible to watch any major sporting event without a television and cable contract, but these last few years, the Super Bowl and even the Olympics have been available online.

According to the NFL communications page, "Last year?s live stream of the Super Bowl in the United States attracted 2.1 million users, making it the most-watched, single-game sports event ever online." And this year will be no different. Not only will the Super Bowl be live streamed, but so will the Wild Card games.

This season's Wild Card race is as tight as ever with so many teams still in the hunt. So the games are set to be pretty epic. The Wild Card Playoff Games will air in a double header on January 5th on NBC. First, it's the AFC with the Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET. Then you can watch NFC's Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers at 8 p.m. ET.

Both of these games will also be available for live streaming online and on your Verizon smartphone.

Russia cleans up after meteor blast injures more than 1,000

CHELYABINSK, Russia (Reuters) - Thousands of Russian emergency workers went out on Saturday to clear up the damage from a meteor that exploded over the Ural mountains, damaging buildings, shattering windows and showering people with broken glass.

Divers searched a lake near the city of Chelyabinsk, where a hole several feet wide had opened in the ice, but had so far failed to find any large fragments, officials said.

The scarcity of evidence on the ground fuelled scores of conspiracy theories over what caused the fireball and its huge shockwave on Friday in the area which plays host to many defense industry plants.

Nationalist leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky told reporters in Moscow it could have been "war-mongers" in the United States. "It's not meteors falling. It's a new weapon being tested by the Americans," he said.

A priest from near the explosion site called it an act of God. Social media sites were flooded with speculation about what might have caused the explosion, if not a meteorite.

"Honestly, I would be more inclined to believe that this was some military thing," said Oksana Trufanova, a local human rights activist.

Asked about the speculation, an official at the local branch of Russia's Emergencies Ministry simply replied: "Rubbish".

Residents of Chelyabinsk, an industrial city 1,500 km (950 miles) east of Moscow, heard an explosion, saw a bright light and then felt a shockwave that blew out windows and damaged the wall and roof of a zinc plant.

A fireball traveling at a speed of 30 km (19 miles) per second according to Russian space agency Roscosmos, blazed across the horizon, leaving a long white trail visible as far as 200 km (125 miles) away.

NASA estimated the meteor was 55 feet across before entering Earth's atmosphere and weighed about 10,000 tons.

It exploded miles above Earth, releasing nearly 500 kilotons of energy - about 30 times the size of the nuclear bomb dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima in World War Two, NASA added.

"We would expect an event of this magnitude to occur once every 100 years on average," said Paul Chodas of NASA's Near-Earth Object Program Office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

"When you have a fireball of this size we would expect a large number of meteorites to reach the surface and in this case there were probably some large ones."

DIVERS SEARCH LAKE

Search teams said they had found small objects up to about 1 cm (half-an-inch) wide that might be fragments of a meteorite, but no larger pieces.

The Chelyabinsk regional governor said the strike caused about 1 billion roubles ($33 million) worth of damage.

Life in the city had largely returned to normal by Saturday although 50 people were still in hospital. Officials said more than 1,200 people were injured, mostly by flying glass.

Repair work had to be done quickly because of the freezing temperatures, which sank close to -20 degrees Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit) at night.

Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov inspected the damage after President Vladimir Putin sent him to the region.

His ministry is under pressure to clean up fast following criticism over the failure to issue warnings in time before fatal flooding in southern Russia last summer and over its handling of forest fires in 2010.

Putin will also want to avoid a repeat of the criticism that he faced over his slow reaction to incidents early in his first term as president, such as the sinking of the Kursk submarine in 2000 which killed all 118 people on board.

Good News: Maine College Graduates? Debt Load Lower Than Previously Thought. Bad News: Because No One At USM Can Do Arithmetic

UMaine Fort KentFORT KENT, Maine ? Two years ago, Maine ranked second highest in the country, behind New Hampshire, in a national report that measured the student loan debt of recent college graduates. That information was wrong, however, and in the most recent report the state has dropped all the way to No. 18. The state?s high ranking was due in large part to incorrect data supplied to the reporting organization by one of Maine?s largest universities, the University of Southern Maine. At the same time, the latest annual report released by the Project on Student Debt shows one of the state?s smallest campuses ? the University of Maine at Fort Kent ? as graduating students with some of the lowest debt loads in the country. Indianapolis Colts: Jinx to be Honored on Poster Outside of Lucas Oil Stadium?

Thomas J. Russo-USA TODAY Sports

It?s usually a great accomplishment to be honored by your team in or around your home stadium. The home of the Indianapolis Colts is Lucas Oil Stadium and for those who have never been to the stadium there?s four murals or posters on the outside of it. There?s two one of each corner on the North side and two on the South side.

If I were a Colts player I would think twice about letting the team put a graphic up of me on Lucas Oil Stadium.

When the stadium first opened in 2008, the Colts put Peyton Manning, Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney and Dallas Clark on it. Well, none of those four remain with the team and saw injuries hamper their chances of returning to the franchise.

Sanders, was the first to be taken down after he was released with the team in 2010 due to several injuries suffered. When he wasn?t hurt he made this team so much better and earned his spot on the stadium.

Just two years later Manning and Clark were both released by the Colts due to injuries as well.

Obviously everyone knows the Manning story and likely remembers the Clark story as well. The veteran tight end was often injury prone near the end of his tenure in Indianapolis and struggled mightily in 2011. The Colts parted ways with them 11 months ago.

Freeney, was the last member of the Colts to be honored on the mural and stick around. He too was injury prone once put on the mural and a combination of the injuries, decline of production and money owed were the reasons the Colts had to part ways.

Right now the only player on the current murals still on the team is Reggie Wayne. If I were Wayne I?d want that to be taken down immediately. He?s getting right in the age and time frame to where the jinx happened to these guys.
