Police have arrested four people after an investigation into the sale of illicit drugs at a Fort Erie home.
Niagara Regional Police detectives and uniform and canine officers searched the home Wednesday, turning up a variety of drugs, including marihuana, heroin, morphine, prescription medication, magic mushrooms and cocaine along with a large sum of Canadian currency and two prohibited weapons.
Charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (marijuana), possession of a controlled substance (psilocybin), possession of a controlled substance (oxycotin), possession of a controlled substance (methylphenidate), possession of a prohibited weapon (stun-gun), possession of a prohibited weapon (expandable baton) and possession of property obtained by crime (currency) is 23-year-old Darren Browne of Fort Erie.
Charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of a controlled substance (morphine), possession of a controlled substance (heroin) is 24-year-old Danniel Stuffels-Aitken of Fort Erie.
Charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of a controlled substance (morphine) is 19-year-old Brittany Lamb of Fort Erie.
Charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (marijuana), possession of a controlled substance (oxycotin), possession of property obtained by crime (currency) is 18-year-old Randi Comerie of Fort Erie.
Lamb and Comerie were released from custody by way of officer-in-charge ndertaking and promise to appear with a future court date. Both Browne and Stuffels-Aitken were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
