I have a 08 Explorer XLT Fully Loaded 35k miles. I owe 19 now. However I am about to have to purchase an extented warranty at 36k for another 1300. Making my pay off now 20 I have been offered 17 for the car. I am thinking of taking the 17 leaving me a balance of 2 Taking a personal loan for the 2k and paying of off so I can be free of the loan. Then I am going to start over after the loan is paid would keep making my 550 note which would approximately take 3 months to pay off Once that is complete go and get a cheaper used car.

Would you think this made sense Or would you buy the extra warranty and keep the car until pay off 3 Years and sale outright I tried to refi but no one wants to touch it with neg. Though its not much.
